Switzerland
IWC Schaffhausen was founded in 1868 by American engineer Florentine Ariosto Jones, who brought modern American manufacturing methods to Swiss watchmaking in the Swiss town of Schaffhausen. The brand is particularly known for its Pilot's Watch and Portugieser collections and for pioneering titanium cases in the 1980s; it has been part of the Richemont Group since 2000.
